Nice restaurant, nice host.

The restaurant was recommended to us by locals. It is centrally located with easy parking. The restaurant has a rustic charm and offers a small (probably Corona-related) simple and traditional menu. The rump steak with mushrooms and french fries was on point and the taste clearly speaks for a good meat quality. The very nice owner even found the time for a chat and was very accommodating. The price of 16.50 euros with a soup in advance is simply unbeatable! Highly recommended for everyone who likes good food in a cozy atmosphere!

German cuisine 🍽 ??? 😳 I do not know who made this statement 🤔, but the German cuisine is very tasty & varied! The food has all other than the name, "good German cuisine" earned !!! We were looking forward to a nice meal after our family trip (Museumszugfahrt🚂), but far from it! The restaurant is visually in need of much renovation & that in the truest sense of the word. Nevertheless, we have relied on the reviews & stayed there in the hope that the food is really as good as rated. The side salad 🥗 came and was already a bitter disappointment! With just a bit of lettuce, 2 cucumbers, a 🍅 & diluted yoghurt pretty bag-neutral! 🙄Then came the huntsman schnitzel! The meat tasted only the sloppy breading, the 🍟 were reasonably edible and the hunter sauce was a light brown oily sauce with Konservenchampignons! The plates went back almost completely & apparently you do not even ask, because you already know the answer, if the plates go back in this form! The value for money is catastrophic! The minimum rating is one star, that's why I forgave one!

I can't understand the sometimes almost mean comments. The food is like the place, authentic. Not copied or styled. Good German home cooking as it has always been served in German pubs. Anyone who doesn't see that has expected another fancy bar. It's not (thank God)!

When you have a lot of time and the beer can take a little longer! However, food is very good!

An absolutely catastrophic meal! We have ordered Jägerschnitzel with a side salad. One can hardly speak of a sauce as an oily soup with canned mushrooms, that meat is as little quality as taste. The salad a few green leaves with two slices of cucumber and a piece of tomato. Also since the dressing has no taste. Simply not recommended.
